Wayne Madsen is a Washington, DC-based investigative journalist, author and columnist. He has written for The Village Voice, The Progressive, Counterpunch, Online Journal, CorpWatch, Multinational Monitor, News Insider, In These Times, and The American Conservative. His columns have appeared in The Miami Herald, Houston Chronicle, Philadelphia Inquirer, Columbus Dispatch, Sacramento Bee, and Atlanta Journal-Constitution, among others.

Madsen is the author of The Handbook of Personal Data Protection (London: Macmillan, 1992), an acclaimed reference book on international data protection law; Genocide and Covert Operations in Africa 1993-1999 (Edwin Mellen Press, 1999); co-author of America's Nightmare: The Presidency of George Bush II (Dandelion, 2003); author of Jaded Tasks: Big Oil, Black Ops & Brass Plates; Overthrow a Fascist Regime on $15 a Day; and The Manufacturing of a President: the CIA's Insertion of Barack H. Obama, Jr. into the White House. Madsen has been a regular contributor on RT and PressTV. He has been a frequent political and national security commentator on Fox News and has also appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, and MS-NBC. Madsen has taken on Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity on their television shows. He has been invited to testify as a witness before the US House of Representatives, the UN Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and an terrorism investigation panel of the French government. Madsen has some twenty years experience in security issues. As a U.S. Naval Officer, he managed one of the first computer security programs for the U.S. Navy. He subsequently worked for the National Security Agency, the Naval Data Automation Command, Department of State, RCA Corporation, and Computer Sciences Corporation. Madsen was a Senior Fellow for the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), a privacy public advocacy organization. Madsen is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and the National Press Club.

James H. Fetzer, a former Marine Corps officer, is Distinguished McKnight University Professor on the Duluth campus of the University of Minnesota. A magna cum laude in philosophy graduate of Princeton University in 1962, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and became an artillery officer who served in the Far East. After a tour supervising recruit training in San Diego, he resigned his commission as a Captain to begin work in the history and philosophy of science at Indiana in 1966. He completed his graduate work by earning his Ph.D. in the history and philosophy of science from Indiana in 1970. He has taught at a wide range of institutions of higher learning, including the Universities of Virginia (twice), Cincinnati, North Carolina at Chapel Hill, New College of the University of South Florida, and UMD, where he served from 1987 until his retirement in 2006. His honors include a research fellowship from the National Science Foundation and The Medal of the University of Helsinki. He has published more than 100 articles and reviews and 20 books in the philosophy of science and on the theoretical foundations of computer science, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science. His biographical sketch has appeared in the Directory of American Scholars, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World. In 1992, he organized a research group consisting of the most highly qualified experts to study the death of JFK, which led to the publication of Assassination Science (1998), Murder in Dealey Plaza (2000) and The Great Zapruder Film Hoax (2003). He founded Scholars for 9/11 Truth in 2005 and invited Steve Jones to serve as his co-chair. He organized the first national conference for Scholars in Madison in 2007 and published its first book, The 9/11 Conspiracy: The Scamming of America (2007). He also organized Scholars' first international conference in Vancouver in 2012. He was the keynote speaker at The American Scholars Conference hosted by Alex Jones in Los Angeles in 2006. That year, he also appeared on "Hannity & Colmes" (twice) and later on "The O'Reilly Factor". He was flown to Athens to be the featured speaker on 9/11 on a 3.5 hour television program broadcast worldwide by satellite. He was flown to Buenos Aires to speak in 2008 and again in 2009, where he was the main speaker at The International Symposium on 9/11 Truth and Justice. He organized another symposium in London in 2010, "Debunking the "War on Terror'". He has been widely interviewed on radio and television.
